My old but very reliable sewing machine 🙂

Hi! I am Miss C (although soon to be Mrs R) and this is a blog all about crafting! Mainly sewing, cross stitching, crochet, knitting (something I need to get back into!)  and some paper-crafting.

I am a very keen crafter however still a bit of a novice. Only acquired my sewing machine a few months ago (a very old Singer) and have taught myself how to use it….. but still have a way to go. My interests are mainly in home furnishing such as cushions etc but who knows what the future may hold…. maybe I will get into dressmaking! That thought scares me a little at the moment.

By day, I am a Staff Nurse working on a busy surgical ward in the South-West of England; so sometimes have very little time to fulfil my crafty ambitions.

We have two cats who are my little babies!  Dottie and Lillie are both British Blue Cross and are sisters. We had them from when they were 9 months or so and are now nearly 18 months old – although they still act like kittens sometimes, love ’em! I’m sure I will keep you posted on all their shenanigans 🙂

I hope you enjoy looking at some of my projects/ideas…..if you are anything like me – in your element when you see needles and thread then great…. enjoy, have fun! Miss C xx
