A Friend For Oscar

Standard

Oscar has a new friend!

Meet Alan the Lion. He plays saxophone in a jazz band. He likes to listen to indie and rock music on his iPod – he also taps his foot to ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’.

It only took me an afternoon to hook up Alan’s body, however, his mane took all evening (just finished it around midnight last night!), but I do love his mane! If you look closely at his tail you can see a small tuft of hair there too 🙂

Now that I have made two of these cute little amigurumi animals, I decided to browse (!) eBay for some safety eyes. Managed to order quite a few pairs for only £2…. bargain! So, watch this space for more of these little cuties!

Now a quick update on my Morocco inspired blanket – have roughly planned out how many granny squares I need of each of the three different designs I am doing and all the times are nicely weaved in on the ones I have done already – think I have around 30 or so done. Still a way to go though! Must get my hook on 🙂

Hope you are all enjoying the weather

My New iPhone/iPod Pouch

Standard

I have been busy perfecting the make up of my iPhone/iPod pouch.

Only took me two go’s which I think isn’t bad. First go wasn’t quite big enough, was too much of a tight fit for the iPhone. However, it is now done and so my tutorial is now available for you all to see! 🙂

Make it quick as it would make a lovely thoughtful Christmas gift for a tech savvy friend!

Head over to the tutorial menu for a step by step guide on how to make your very own pouch. Hope you enjoy it, Miss C xx
