I have now managed to create the patterns section on my menu. At the moment only the crochet section has a couple patterns to start off with – they include the new Battenberg Cake pattern and the Mouse Cat Toy one from previously.Hope you like them and let me know how you get on!

Mmmm Cakes and cookies!
These are what I have been making the last week or so. First up was the cupcake…..
The original pattern did not have a cherry on the top but instead had sewn on buttons and sequins. I was going to do that but then decided (seeing as I love cherries) to make my own little cherry! To make it is very similar to how you would crochet a little button. Will post a couple patterns for some buttons soon as they come in so handy!
Mmmm if only this cupcake was real!
Next up was the Chocolate Gateau slice……..
The original colours of this pattern was completely different but I decided to do chocolate cake with cherry filling and obviously a little cherry on top again! Could make so many different variations – oohh what would you make?
Next up was the cookies and doughnut…..
Here we have a heart shaped cookie with frosting, a frosted ring doughnut with chocolate icing (did not have the proper colour for a doughnut so it had to be a frosted one! 🙂 ), and my other half’s favourite….an Oreo cookie! I love these little ones…the oreo is so easy to make – it’s literally just three circles sewn on top of each other, think it took about 20 minutes to make and it looks so real!
The final cake I made was this one………
Battenberg! I absolutely love battenberg so it seemed right to make one, but this one is MY OWN pattern! Yay! My first ever pattern. What do you think? I know the lighter colour needed to be a yellow but the only yellow I have is way too bright so its actually a cream colour.
I will upload the pattern to my battenberg cake for you all – just need to remember how I made it now! Was a case of making it up as I went along. Check back soon for the pattern!
This next delight is not a cake but a lot more healthier and also cute to look at…..

Quick update on my hippy cushion – I have now completed both sides and will start stitching each side together (double crocheting all the way around). Will only double crochet around half way today as I am still waiting on my cushion pad to be delivered – hopefully today – fingers crossed! Cant wait to have it finished and on display! 🙂 Check back soon…
